Happy Merry Merry!

We three Neek Neeks had such a great Christmas. But we were really missing our family in Washington D.C., Mississippi, Florida, and Colorado. We hope to spend next Christmas with you! Neko had a great time anticipating Santa and opening her gifts. Mommy and Daddy Neek Neek spent hours building gifts with an obnoxious amount of hardware. But the delicious mulled wine that was on the stove for two days helped get us through it! Enjoy the pics! There are lots of em!

Where did our little baby go?

Being that Neko is not even two yet, the Neek Neeks were very shocked to hear these cries a few weeks ago:

"No little bed mama! No little bed daddy!"

"Neko sleep in big bed!"

After several nights of tantrums we gave in. The safety rail arrived a few days ago and Neko began sleeping in the full size guest bed in her room. She has adapted very well and sleeps quite peacefully in her "big bed."

Oh yes, and one week before this she demanded to sit in mama's chair during meals. Now her highchair and crib only serve the use of her stuffed animals.

Neko and Momma Neek Neek had our first holiday craft experience! We made snowflakes...sort of. Neko very much enjoyed taping up her flakes as evidenced below. Now her room is a winter wonderland.
