Ever May was a trooper this weekend after a bite of hummus sent her on an emergency trip to the hospital. Momma was terrified. Neko was excited to be riding in the ambulance. And Ever was calm and delightful even after being strapped on the gurney and pumped full of meds. Here she is passed out after returning home. She bounced right back though and had a wonderful first day at school. We've decided that allergies suck big time and we are so grateful she is okay.

Poor Ever! Hospitals stink. Glad she's home and doing well. What is on the "do not eat" list now?
Well, she has had a skin test that showed a peanut allergy and we are suspicious of the hummus being contaminated with peanuts. Who knows? Maybe she has developed an allergy to sesame seeds now. She currently gets contact rashes and hives when certain raw fruits and veggies touch her skin. But we've never had a crazy reaction like this one. We're trying to connect with a new allergist now and look forward to more tests and hopefully some answers.
I am so glad she's ok. How scary!
