Dance Party USA 2011!

Neko and Ever May's long distance BFFs, Benny and Joaquin, paid them a visit recently. Here is one of the many highlights: Keenan Amago Durham Kaplan Dance Party!!!

Planting time!?

We'd planned on putting some plants in these pots today but the girls were having so much fun playing in them we had to postpone. We love that our girls are able to play for 30 minutes getting in and out of a planter. Simple fun is the best!

Happy Birthday Neko Belle!

We can't believe our little "Pirate Princess" is four today! She continues to amaze us, humble us, and yes, challenge us. She is bright, hillarious, inquisitive, sensitive, creative and compassionate. She's also spunky as hell and stands up for herself like no other. We love her like the moon and stars. Happy birthday sweet Neko!

She's One, People!

Unbelievable! She's a force to be reckoned with and she's only one. Yep, our sweetie pie, Ever May, turned one today. To commemorate the day she has decided to ween and seems happy as a clam about it. Mom, on the other hand is a little sad but is trying to take her lead. Ever continues to be full of smiles and laughs. And she's quick to give her opinion about things; She's definitely the loudest baby we know. She's learned how to steal her toys back from Neko and she's very adventurous. She loves to say and sign poop and dada. These are two of her favorite words and especially funny when said together. She's a climbing fool and is daring as all get out. It's been amazing to watch her be her little unique self. Neko is smitten (except when Ever bit her a few days ago when Neko took her toy) as are mommy and daddy. We love you our little sparkly girl!

Neko Makes Art

One of Neko's favorite things to do lately is draw. She gets very focused and loves to tell us about her pictures. We are really loving her drawings of people and fairies and are very happy to support her new love of drawing.
